The event was held in a solemn and bustling atmosphere, with the participation of Mr. Hervé CONAN – Director of AFD in Vietnam; Ms. Anne de SOUCY - Director of Partnerships at AFD and Mr. Vuong Thanh Long - Head of FDI banking Department from BIDV. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Thai Minh Chau - Representative of EVN Binh Dinh and leaders of the Provincial People's Committee said that “Cat Hiep Solar Power Project has been meeting the electricity consumption needs of the people and creating favorable conditions for the development of industry and services.”

The Cat Hiep Solar Power Plant project was started on October 29, 2018 in Cat Hiep commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province. Built on a scale of 62ha, with a capacity of 49.5MWp and supplying the national grid system with 73 GWh per year.
