HR Generalist

Location: Ho Chi Minh Office (30th Floor, Opal Office Tower, 92 Nguyen Huu Canh, Ward 22, Binh Thanh Dist, Ho Chi Minh)

Department: HR

Report to: Senior HR Manger (GYVN & GYKH)

Job Description:

  1. Recruitment & Selection (40%)
  • Manage the whole recruitment process (job description creating, job posting, hunting, screening, interview & arrange interview, feedback, job offer, …)
  • Conduct background checks & manage the post-hire process.
  • Implement new hire orientation & corporate with related departments for onboarding process.
  • Follow up probation process & full life cycle of the employee.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives, organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Forecast monthly / quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.
  • Foster long-term relationships with applicants and potential candidates.
  1. Learning & Development (30%)
  • Analyze training needs (soft skills, technical skills & management skills…), plan training and L&D budget controlling as well as suitable L&D programs.
  • Coordinate with functional department heads for organizing internal technical/ functional training courses for internal staff.
  • Implement, monitor and follow training programs for each case in order to evaluate the quality of learning & development for manpower as well as propose solutions to improve the quality of training.
  • Maintain a training record/ database for necessary tracking & reports.
  • Maintain a good communication and positive relationship with employees to promote employee satisfaction and ensure a positive working environment.
  1. Compensations & Benefits (10%)
  • Coordinate & support HR team for other tasks relating to compensations and benefits as assigned by Line Manager
  • Handle all HR operations & benefits administration (checkup, healthcare insurance, employee engagement & other company events).
  1. Policies & Compliance (10%)
  • Develop & implement HR policies and initiatives aligned with the business in Vietnam.
  • Ensure the compliance in all HR reports and regulations.
  • Take lead in communication, interpretation & the management of disciplinary & grievances issues.
  • Update all new changes & regulations to all employees.
  • Ensure necessary formalities for the expats in order to work in Vietnam.
  1. Work permit (5%)
  • Prepare & manage all papers needed for work permits of expats.
  • Work with agency for submitting work permits.
  1. Other tasks assigned by HR Manager/General Director (5%)

Requirement:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience including at least 2 years as Talent Acquisition or L&D specialist position.
  • Experience in Construction/ Renewable industry is a strong plus.
  • Proficient English communication is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of Vietnam Law (Labor Law, Social Insurance & Employment Law…) and PIT regulation in Vietnam
  • Familiar with working with the authorities and other third parties for all HR-related matters
