Job Description:

General requirement:
– Manage, follow up, and review all maintenance activities on a daily basis on various Zalo groups with O&M contractors for a portfolio of >++60 projects.
– Control the handover process with the O&M contractor and review handover activities in various sites to verify any findings due to the Construction phase and recommendations for the remediation.
– Able to proceed with periodical site visits for observations of O&M contractor’s maintenance activities.
Corrective maintenance:
– Communicate with the Roof owner to register maintenance activities at the site and provide answers related to technical concerns from roof owners during site intervention of the O&M contractor.
– Maintain the corrective maintenance executed properly with minimum downtime.
– Instruct O&M contractor in terms of technical advice and in electric, hydraulic, mechanical, and software component inspections, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting.
– Liaise with EPC contractor regarding warranty claims for sites under warranty
– Responds to emergency call outs
– Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders. Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims.

Preventive Maintenance:
– Liaise with Roof owners to register maintenance activities at the site.
– Follow up maintenance plan submitted by Contractor to verify the implementation.
– Overseeing the progress and dedicatedly following up on the maintenance activities remotely of various sites on a daily basis (monthly site inspection/cleaning PV panels/annual preventive maintenance) to ensure that the implementation of the O&M contractor will meet the contractual scope and GY’s standards.
– Evaluate and execute decision-making in every specific case reported by the O&M contractor.
– Follow up and make sure the compliance of O&M contractor in terms of established technical standards/guidelines and HSE compliance.
– Check, verify end ensure the Preventive Maintenance activities are in line with reports submitted by the O&M contractor.

Documentation and work acceptance:
– Review monthly site visit inspection/cleaning PV panels/corrective maintenance/preventive maintenance report submitted by O&M contractor.
– Verify the execution of the O&M contractor to ensure compliance in terms of period acceptance.

Requirement:

Education:

– University Degree in Electrical/ Power/ Energy Engineering
– Practicing Certificate of Supervision of the Equipment Installation – Rank I-III is a plus

Experience: Minimum 2 years work experience of supervising the construction of solar plants.

Skills & Knowledge:

– Ability to communicate in English is a must (at least TOEIC 700 or IELTS 5.5).
– Ability to work quickly and efficiently on multiple projects at once, understand prioritization and the necessity of hitting deadlines
– At least 2 years’ experience in the same position in solar projects.
– Good understanding of the technical due diligence process including data collection, and initial and comprehensive technical review of solar projects.
– Proven understanding of the relevant regulations regarding solar energy in Vietnam.
– Excellent international communication and coordination capacity.
– Available for very frequent national travels and some international travels.
– Rigorous and organized mindset.
– Native Vietnamese only.
